There is Poetry in life.
In the moments our hands touch.
In the way you smiled at me on a Wednesday around 4 just when the sun came through the window and your shoes hit the floor.
In the way my son says good night from upstairs in his room when he knows I'm still awake.
In the way my dog wakes up each morning & chooses to follow me to the gym.
In my morning coffee.
In the way the sun peeks over the hill by my house.
& In the way I see you through my lens even though we just met for the first time today.

My approach



I know you can read testimonials but I put a piece of myself into everything I do so... I thought why should this be any different. Let's coffee & Yapp. Yes, I mean that even if you don't choose me I don't charge anything for a consultation & I believe I should invest in you the same way you are choosing to invest in me.

I understand that your moments are about so much more than just beautiful images and I want to connect with you. I want my client experience to feel like so much more then a monetary transaction.

I feel like my style leans towards documentary & lifestyle with a flare of film when it's appropriate. I'm a sucker for intimate moments when it isn't always about the image being "perfect" but about the moment being captured with raw emotion. I like to look at it as just melting into those moments & I want it to feel like I wasn't even there.

I like to flow with the day & that usually means a mix of prompts, poses, & candids. So what does that even mean? I like to let moments breathe ( first looks, private vows) I wanna let you laugh & cry (I'm just here to document ) but I will also guide you when needed for portraits and in anyway that doesn't disrupt real genuine moments . I believe in versatility & that not every image calls for the exact same feel & I believe my work can be consistent without being exactly the same.

I'm inspired by art, poetry, music & believe it or not you. I still believe in photos that feel like love notes, getting giddy over holding hands, & whispering sweet little nothings. More now than ever I feel like the internet is full of perfectly curated images that make us believe our own moments or even maybe what we want out of our own experience isn't  valid but I'm here to capture a day that is for You & serves You. I'm drawn towards people who want to be captured as exactly who they are & let love/ vulnerability lead their story. I promise to show up fully & authentically as myself if you do. ;)
